I'm currently unemployed and just doing some freelancing, so in my free time I've decided to enter the newest CG challenge at cgtalk.com forums.  "Secret Agent" is the theme, and we have until September to create a short story involving espionage of any sort. My entry will consist of a spy infiltrating a castle in the middle ages.  He'll use a variety of clever gadgets and techniques to retrieve enemy battle plans. Well, as of Friday I am officially finished with school!  I graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics. The plan now is to either find a job in Chicago working at a commercial effects studio, or HOPEFULLY out in San Francisco or LA working on feature films. I'd love to do 3D animation and visual effects for film, but I might find that I need to build up some professional experience before I'll be accepted at a big league film studio.
