Last Resort

To satisfy my longing for the mountains I came up with this scene. All in all it's quite dark but I wanted to keep the atmosphere peaceful. The soldiers just made it in time before sunset to reach the goal of their tiring journey. The sight would be reward enough in any case.

Stunning work Tobi!!

It's absolutely lovely. I like the touch of the torches of the people who are way ahead on the road, and the lamps just being lit in the fort, which is still catching the sun, of course. The breath of the soldier is a lovely touch.

Funny how I'm most impressed by how well that tree was added in. Normally I can spot a "cut out tree" from a mile away. The lighting of the fire shining on the knights is well done too. Really captures that "coming home at the end of the day" mood overall (that or planning an attack early in the morning :paranoid:)

It's supposed to be a "coming home" scene ;) Five guys wouldnt be enough for an attack ... wait: medieval special forces D: :wow:
