Delusion

This is simply beautiful. A man walks across the fields of some planet light-years from Earth. He stops before an ancient lake-bed that has been bone-dry for millennia and gazes out into the horizon, towards the closest dwarf-planet to his current location. Staring into the great beyond, he wonders: "Will we be able to build a settlement? Can humanity survive here, over there, and elsewhere?" He turns and leaves, off to continue the work that must be done...

Your lighting and technique are on point, as always. There's just the right amount of light and shadow exactly where they're needed. Twilight descends upon this desolate world as the figure explores nearby, yet there's enough light to cause the rubble beneath his feet to glimmer like so much stardust. The lake-bed and surrounding areas glint under the misty sun (awesome effect, BTW), marking the contrasts that make this picture-perfect. Another excellent submission, friend. Kudos.
