Thank you... Yeah, ugh, my headcanon is that Annatar/Sauron actually enjoyed his time in Eregion. Ykno, because he's not like Melkor (at the time at least)- he'd probably rather take over and rule than simply destroy. But then what he considered Celebrimbor's betrayal came....
