.My Little Berith. by TLK-Peachii .My Little Berith. by TLK-Peachii
Okay.
I thought of so many titles for this.
"My little Berony", "Berith is a brony", "My demon pony", Berith's little pony", the list goes on. I settled on the title it has now.

Okay now, how this came about: I study demonology for the Paranormal group that I run in. My reason is not for the stereotypical reasoning as does every other group use the knowledge for, but because I am studying dream symbolism. With what my studies have lead me to, I've lost my belief in the biblical "demon".
But that's a whole nother subject, and it would become a debate.

Anyway, I stumbled upon Berith, and while reading his description; I couldn't help but feel "He is seen riding upon a red horse" is an instant "My little pony" to me.
I mean, c'mon. It's a red horse. An unnaturally colored equestrian. That's My little Pony material all the time!
I then looked at the illustrated image portrayal of him, and I saw how decked out the horse was. Her saddle was nice, she had flowers on her, a tiara/crown, the likes. That's the reason it's a girl, I speculated with the flowers all over it that it's a female.

So, I took a day out of my comic work to draw this while it was still a fresh image in my head. I figured it wouldn't leave my mind if I didn't draw it.
Oh, and the reasoning for the triangle nose on Berith; I kinda borrowed that as a facial detail from Raggedy Andy. This is because I tried making a small bump for the nose and it looked really akward. Yet, without some sort of shape to represent the nose; the face looked character-less and vacant. I tried a circle and it looked just plain silly or weird, and so I used the triangle and it added that cute touch I was looking for.

Berith and his little "Bloodysweet", as I named her. There could probably be a better name, but; y'know. He supposedly tempts men to murder and blasphemy, so I thought the name was fitting. :D
He needed a place to be going in the background. Soo, how about he's taking his pretty pony to the bar to show off. :D

Berith was Brony before Brony was cool! ;P

The little man-goat , Berith, looks like a spoiled, stuck-up brat who's used to getting his way.:XD: Bloodysweet is beautiful and definitely a horse of a different color.:giggle:That's quite a back story. As for myself, I haven't had any "encounters" for a very long time and I actually miss them. They gave me something to believe in.:)

Haha, I know! But he's so cute. I wanna pinch his cheeks.
Thank you! Designing Bloodysweet was fun. I thought she came out so pretty. She's probably just as spoiled as her rider, if not more! xD
You had encounters before? Awesome. With my studies, I haven't really seen them as "demons"; but a form of message. The subject is easy to get sucked into, and makes more and more sense as it goes. With the encounters I've had, I blame negative mischief on the energy of negative people or emotions that have manifested rather than biblical "demons". A fine line kinda grew between the two, in my studies anyhow.
What encounters did you have? Would love to hear them, if you care to discuss! :)

When I was younger, these entities would mess with me while I was asleep. They never bothered me while I was awake. The plasmic energy would hold me down no matter how hard I'd struggle to wake up,I couldn't even scream. I was half asleep on night when I felt a strange prescence in my room. A loud squeaking that seem to grow louder and louder in my ears. Then suddenly, something grabbed me by the back of my neck and shook me violently! It wasn't until I started to say "The Lord's Prayer" that everything went calm. I gathered my courage and ran across the hall and climbed in bed with my mother.

Wait, you're not certain that you were lucid dreaming? Because there are dream symbols for feeling held down or not being able to scream. However, if you were still wake but in bed; then it was most likely just negative energy or a negative spirit. Was there a history to your household that you think corresponds with that activity? That's pretty cool though. :o

If I wish I had anything, I wish I had written a journal in 2008. I had such a negativity problem that the activity was off the charts, all caused by the negativity from my own jealousy and gory Halloween props I put in my room.

Actually, there is a history of lucid dreaming. Up to now, I didn't know the technical name for it.

Really? Intriguing.
From what I've studied by dream standards, I don't mind if you have your own opinion because this is just mine ^^; , they say being held down in a dream usually symbolizes that you feel restricted in some waking part of your life. Being unable to scream is usually the same thing, feeling unable to express yourself in some manner.
