Vision Originality Technique ImpactWhen I was flipping through pieces I almost thought this was a photograph! Very nice job!
I think your representation of the kitten is spectacular, and you captured detail extraordinarily well. He looks like a newborn tiger, almost. The only thing I'm not sure of on the head though, is the white hairs on the top of the head could be sticking up a bit? When I looked at the reference, the head didn't seem quite so round and smooth, though it does make your kitten quite cuter. I especially like the little paw sticking out, it looks like you spent a bit of time on it, and the tiny little claws add a very nice touch.
I do like the hand, you did a very good job of creating good contour and volume. The contrast between the hand and the black background is very strong, making the hand pop out considerably. You used very good texturing of the skin as well. Well done!
