My Bio

AI Artist, Writer, Gamemaster, and Gamer

At various points, I've designed tabletop roleplaying games, written My Little Pony fanfiction (and original fiction), created fantasy maps, and now, I primarily produce AI Art and run two D&D campaigns.

I primarily generate art using MidJourney, a powerful AI tool for art generation, and then clean them up using photoshop, though some of the works in my gallery are created via other means. If you like gryphons, dragons, furries, Dungeons & Dragons (or Pathfinder!), pretty landscapes, random cute stuff, cool flying ships, and eclectic art styles, along with fun written descriptions for art, you've come to the right place.

This is a hot topic today, and as someone who spends a lot of time playing around with AI art algorithms, I thought I'd explain how they work, as a lot of folks are confused about how they function. A lot of people think that these things are, in some way, copying art from the internet, and then creating some sort of mashed-together collage in this way. While there are programs that can do this, this is not how the major AI art programs - things like MidJourney, StableDiffusion, DallE, etc - work. So what IS going on? These bots are produced using "machine learning". Machine learning is accomplished by running an AI algorithm on a large data set, trying to draw statistical inferences about that data set. For instance, if you are making an algorithm to figure out whether or not people have cancer, you might take in a bunch of data about people (including whether or not they have cancer), and then have it try to figure out what biometric properties people who have cancer in common

The next generation of AI art is here, in the form of NijiJourney, a new MidJourney engine that is focused on generating Anime art. It’s not as good as the --test and --testp versions of MidJourney at a lot of things, but it is vastly, vastly better at others. And one thing in particular it is much better at is creating art of specific characters. This is Fairfax, a human wizard from Dungeons & Dragons basic. The prompt given for this was: A cute female librarian with shoulder length OceanBlue Hair, Cyan Eyes, Long Black Cloak, White Blouse, Black half skirt, Black leggings, Leather girdle, hourglass figure --ar 2:3 Now, this was not just the product of one image; I spent about an hour iterating with my friend before getting what they wanted. And in the end, I had to engage in bit of Photoshop to clean it up a bit; her hand on her cape was a total mess and her right eye was a bit broken. However, the end result is quite good, and could be further improved with some tweaking in

MidJourney

0 min read
I have been experimenting a great deal with MidJourney; since August 1st, I've generated almost 12,000 images using that AI art program, as well as having experimented with some others. It's been a lot of fun, so I am going to work on sharing some of my work here on DeviantArt. AI art is a very odd field. It is not much like generating art by hand in some ways in terms of process, but much like any other artistic endeavour, experimentation and practice lead to better results. The main difference between AI art and more traditional art is that with more traditional art, you are unlikely to see good results without substantial amounts of practice; with AI art, you might start seeing good results right away, but only with "easy things" or things that other people show you how to do, with limited ability to independently generate desirable images. On top of that, MidJourney itself, like all such AIs, is not aware of what it is doing. The way MidJourney works is that it has "seen"

What's different about your page compared to others I follow on DeviantArt is that regardless of the AI tool usage, you seem to have more personal investment you choose to or are able to share in what you post. There's a story behind them or to accompany them. You're attached to the work in a way you were able to add comments about.

While I admire the skill of art done via stylus/handheld tool to directly create lines, lay colors, and choose composition, I miss when people online did more art with personal engagement. Moreso than the quantity of AI images being tiresome on dA to me is the quantity of artist commentsless images produced as commission or for marketability.

I appreciate that you're part of the sort of creative-as-passion community potential here.

Thank you!

I really love it when people have descriptions or little stories about their art, or have something to say, so I figured when I posted stuff myself, I should reflect what I like to see when I am looking at other people's galleries, too.

It's a lot of fun to see what people are coming up with, and why they're doing what they're doing.

I'm glad you enjoy the little short stories and descriptions I write.

how much are commissions?

You have with your loved ones a Happy  Birthday and this year God fill you with blessings  and happiness my friend. =P:#1::airborne::airborne::airborne::cake::party::party::party::hug::huggle::happybounce::happybounce::cake:

You make amazing looking stuff!😁

Ty for being up front about using AI. I really like the characters you've prompted and curated here!

Hey there! Just wanted to drop by and say that I love your designs! Especially your furry characters, They're really adorable! ^^
