After months of agonizing and waiting, Sweden's Downton Abbey premiere finally came! I drew this in anticipation. I was most worried about how they would deal with Mary's grief, but I feel they did it justice, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season!
I went to an exhibition of a Swedish painter, Carl Larsson, yesterday, and loved his work on colored paper. I found a few old pieces of died paper from a school project years ago, and decided this was the perfect way to test it out! I'll definitely do it more in future, it's fun to focus not only on shadows, but highlights, too.
