I'm rather fond of this one. This started out as a background illustration for my portfolio and resume, but once that was done I decided to build up on the concept I had going and make something more out of it.
The work is entirely done in Illustrator using vectors, believe it or not. Photoshop was not used at all. The only bit that is originally a raster image is the "texture", but that too was imported into Illustrator and converted to a vector. I did not think it was possible to achieve a watercolor effect with vectors, as most of the time I tend to only see vivid, vibrant colors and very modern shapes, but I'm pretty satisfied with the result of my experimentation. ^^ I'm trying to understand why DA doesn't have a landscape section for vector art though o.O
