TMNT - Criticizing Art

On Monday, I was watching some old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons at youtube.com and when I watched them, I had to make a fanart of it right away. Why? Well come on, it's the Ninja Turtles and they were hip back in the day I already know about the newer cartoon version of the show, but no offense for people who like that version today but I don't really like it at all. I'll give it credit to have the style in a detail, yet comic book style like in the show, but the plot is soooo fucked up. That's why I like the old version. It's very original, very modern with some sci-fi stuff to it and I like seeing the Turtles look so cartoony and cute like rather than serious with pure white eyes.

Well enough of that, I'll talk about the fanwork I've made. Michelangelo has painted a pretty painting of a pizza and he's asking the others or as he says it "Compadres" (sp) of what they think about his painging.

You get someone like Leonardo, who gets surprised of how the artwork turns out and most members here on DA get shocked with many artworks that they've seen cuz they're really amazing.

Then you get someone like Donatello, who compliments the work and sees that the artist has the talent and knowledge to become one. I've seen some members on DA that comments on that kind of stuff and it sure makes the artist proud.

But then you get someone like Raphael, who just cares about the subject matter of the art and nothing else... sometimes even insulting it. There's not alot of insulting on DA, but there's alot about comments that people only reply about the subject matter.

So who are you like in Criticizing Art? Leonardo, Donatello or Raphael?

I might make some more TMNT fanart in the future. I don't know about now, but we'll see what happens.
