Why do you people like this ugly thinggg >.<
Don't ask what spawned this XD I'ts not related to any fics but feel free to write one about it if you wish XD.(If you do I'd love to read it :3) I wanted to draw something that would be awesome and make you go and have your imagination figure out whats going on. I also wanted to test my ability with lighting and so I put 20+ light sources to wrap my head around.
Seriously this damn pic gave me a headache and a half to figure out what color went where
I'm just gonna label this as a speedpaint that took me 20 hours
Honestly i'm really meh about it
Light sources include
16 points of light on the glowing crystals
3 Magic light points (hence the purple)
1 for the shield magic
2 for the eyes
1 for general normal shading
A forced black source to keep some of the characters even distinguisable
I attempted to map it out to those who are curious

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactI want to say that this is just a REALLY EPIC picture! A dragon ficting with 2 ponies... I had never seen something like this. Really, this is EPIC. The colors fit perfectly each other and the shadows and light are just so clean. The image is perfectly uderstable despite the art technique. You can feel the totally action and movement of thispicture only looking to the characters. Also, you can imagine infinity of background stories. The expressions and poses fit with the plot and backgroud. The background lighting is so rude and notable, and this makes a perfect art technique. the traces and colors don't get lost into each other or into background, so it was perfectly to make this a lineless so epic digital painting. Sorry if i have bad english ;D
