One of my first shots with Sami and still one of my favourites. I love her dress *so much* in this shot. The way the angled lines on the side accentuate her shape, her not-so-innocently playful expression and the way she's holding the hem of the dress along with the vibrant colours both in her and the wall behind her. The sharpness of the cracks in the concrete. All around, I love this piece tonnes. Sooo glad she messaged me out of no where on Model Mayhem.

I've always wanted to re-edit this shot. The original is too dark, but I didn't know my software as well back then to recover from it. I hope you enjoy. Original:

I came across this well bouncing around another person’s favorites, and this just leaped right out at me. I love how this all came together, and as you pointed out, the lines in the dress really make her curves stand out, but also separate her from the background as well. I also like the colors and detail in the wall, as it is not distracting from the model, but complementing her. I definitely like this better than the original, as your skills in post added a bit more pop to the image.

i adore this one, maybe even more than the original. witch is hard to believe sense the original is as such, stunning.I in fact remember stumbling upon the original, nearly hmm, 6 months ago i believe and i remember this because it was the first work of your i had seen and i was amazed. your work is so truly amazing that i hold my breath to see the next one every time. i think what i love about this one is that the backgrounds fading yellow lines that lead to her face are now brought back to the likewise lightened face. the first thing i saw when i looked at the original was the dress and hair witch really who can blame me aye? but im ashamed to say thats all i really looked at. i love seeing how now i cant help but look at sami's face and love seeing the wonderful expretion you captured. the only thing i miss about the original is the subtle vignette that was there, as it now almost seem to be only on one side. but on the other hand it adds to the sense of movement. i got to say my absolute favorite part of this photo is it is a perfect example of breaking the rule of thirds and having a wonderful photo as a result.

The purpose of this shot was to bracket her in the lovely colours of the graffiti, to have her contrast them. As well, to have her curves contrast the harsher angles of the cracks in the wall behind her. If you go through my gallery you will see some shots that may be similar to what you are suggesting.
