My hands.
I painted my left hand first, as I am right-handed... and attempted to mirror it with my left hand. I am not ambidextrous.
Traditional mehndi art is a popular bridal pre-requisite for Muslim and Hindu women. I have fond memories of the mehndi night we had for my eldest sister a few days prior to her wedding in 2000... and I have been fascinated ever since.
