I drive on the opposite side of the road.
I drive on the opposite side of the road.
Driving past oncoming traffic, hearing them honk and screeching their wheels across the street. I'm not afraid, but that's what scares me.
I drive down roads where I don't belong.
Seeing my old neighborhood where I remember all the street names and all the strangers have familiar faces. I tell myself that I don't care about these strangers, but that's a lie.
I drive off cliffs in my dreams.
Not because I want to die but because I want to feel alive again. I want to feel fear again. I want to take control of the wheel, but I think it was never there to begin with.
I drive alone.
Everyone who's asked for ride has already gotten off. Some said their goodbyes, some left a tip, but others left without a word.
I drive and I drive and I drive.
I want to get off this crazy ride, but then again, I don't.

Humans are like cups.
Cups come in various shapes and sizes. Some are plain and practical while some are colorful and decorative. Some are clear glass while others are sealed up containers. Regardless of their appearance, each one holds a different amount of liquid.
Take happiness, for example. For some cups, smiles come quickly and they come often. As for others, it takes a rather long time before they reach that point. The same goes for sadness, anger, anxiety, and so on.
But when these cups are filled beyond what they can normally carry, they can overflow onto others. They pour out an uncontrollable waterfall of emotions. Their water might spill into other already-full cups. Those affected may shout, “Stop it! Why do you give me water when I already have too much?” The overflowing cups try to say sorry but it's already too late. Gravity tips them over and they fall flat onto their side, splashing even more around. All they can bring themselves to do then is roll on the g
