Very welcome, Tim, it's exactly that, the atmosphere, why this is such a fantastic piece!
Parameters would be great :) I am very much battling with colouring and lights and such and most of all with navigating through the structures, I still feel I do not have any control. MB3D is soooo easy, compared ;) But I am determined to get a grip on it;}

I will dig them out..poke me if i forget.. . I find both programs challenging to get what I set out to do to happen.. as usual with me I tend to 'happen' upon interesting combinations... . I think generally my approach in frag is to colour using balancing and contrasting lights to create your palate the way you can in other 3d programs ( I often use a floor as a colour light/reflection object not necessarily 'in scene' and the same with the background colour even if you can't see it it is still influencing colours and shadow.) .. experiment a lot!  :)

I really am only used to mb3d when it comes to 3D :} I used to design with autocad for work (somewhere in the dark middle ages!), but that were tech drawings, no rendering needed. And mb3d is very direct, especially when it comes to placing positional lights and using colour. With Frag I change colours and nothing happens, so I turn everything to grey to find a starting pointand then all seems to be red, and I have to search for 1o minutes to find where the red comes from, and in the end it's the reflections that are set to an almost black red... Remedy that and change all colours and nothing happens, and no idea what those colour sliders do, as nothing happens where ever I shove them :} This is my rather eventful and interesting life with fragmentarium, and don't start me about the navigation :rofl:
BUT: Thanks a lot for the params, great stuff to play with,  first render will be up in a few:)

Colour work is tricky I agree ....navi is actually really good but seems to act differently with different frags.. setting sensitivity on sliders and using scroll to move sliders is good , hold both mouse buttons down to glide through, left to pivot right to pan wheel to step through or back.  ask if anything bugs in particular : )

Ohh you are my saviour, Tim! Or at the least you're saving me 20 new grey hairs ;}
I was looking for the Pan, and just couldn't find it, Nowhere!, never would have occurred to me to use right mouse button:rofl: This makes things so much easier... and a lot more fun to wander about :nod: Thank you, Tim! :)
PS, looks like both mouse-buttons do the same as mouse wheel?
