Thanks ... I would say it was worth it, finding it to be one of the best fractal programs yet even though it is a bit glitchy and less user friendly

It shouldn't be long before I can afford a new machine...I also want to try a few other programs like StructureSynth, UltraFractal, and XenoDream - none of which will work on my poor little laptop.

i tried structure synth but it looked like too much of a longterm project before i could get anything cool from it...i'm not good with numbers!.. Surprised your lappy struggles with UF in comparison to MB3D , some formulas are a bit slow but in general its ok..and it has the added bonus of being able to stop and start again mid render which i love as it means you can stop a render do a different task and then restart the render from where it left off. So long as you have a high end graphic card Fragmentarium should run fine so get a custom built or add on a good card when you get a new machine :)

If I looked up in the sky and saw the moon full of holes like this, I'd flip out! :cheese:

thanks .. i think if it hadn't been slightly off centre it would have just looked 2d! idk

you're welcome,
& I didn't mean the 3D orientation, I meant the way those two holes overlap to form a 'soap bubble' like profile.
Well, I know it's unavoidable, but conceptually that'd make sense isn't it?
:)
Cheers!

I love how they overlap.

Makes it just a little imperfect => perfect!

Awesome fractal. And I knew, the moon was made of cheese. :D

I'd agree with that 'little imperfect=> perfect' if the imperfection was strategically planned for any design, but being a firm believer in 'Order before chaos' I always tend to look for perfection before I can appreciate deviation from it.
But, it's an awesome fractal none the less. :)
