..ya know..I actually prefer Uncle Ben's death in Amazing Spider-Man because of how tragic it is..

no last words,  no final gaze with Peter, no apology, their last talk was a argument..

if anything , this more tragic adaptation of Ben's death adds more to Peter's guilt and desire to become Spider-Man

in the Sam Rami films, whilst the scene was still tragic, the said tragedy was lessened somewhat becasue they had a chance to reconcile to a extent before Ben died. I dunno, i just felt like it was too..cheesy. (Not helped by Maguire's facial expressions)

wih Garfield, he was in denial, he was spitting, begging for someone to call a ambulance, he reacted how anyone else would to seeing a loved one hurt on the cold pavement.

So I might be a sadist for saying I prefer  the 2011 Uncle Ben death scene but it's only becasue it's a realistic and dark  take on the death; and consider how Spider-Man was meant to be relatable and more showing the stress and tragedy of being a hero, they nailed Ben's death.

I can relate, the first Amazing Spiderman film was my favorite. Uncle Ben's death really did feel more brutal and raw without the chance for last words. There was a lot the movie got right before the studio totally mucked up the second Amazing Spiderman movie
