Easily the best X-Men film out there. Although I still think it's too soon for another "mutants nearly dead" story (the trailers made no effect to hide that) , it fits wit the narrative. Little to no CGI, the desert setting is a sight to behold.
Patrick Stewart returns as Professor X fir the last time..but I really wish he'd return; he was poorly handled in this movie. There's this constant mention of a boat that goes NOWHERE. If they scrapped that and have Charles more or less thinking Erik was right or just him being In mourning, it'd be better
The child actor is perfect, I can se a future in acting for her.
Hugh Jackman gives his best performance as Logan and despite my feelings that he's appeared TOO much in past films, even when not needed, it seemed fitting for this to be his last one. The new guy has a lotta shoes to fill.
So it might sound cheating it's the best x men film as it yet again focuses on Logan , but it's the best Logan film and a fitting end
