....I am not usually against referring to a actor by their character..but when a actor is dead and using the character they played to refer to him/her as a actor..i just find in bad taste.

I know what you mean. Normally I tend to make jokes about people like Emma Watson or Daniel Radcliffe in their post HP movies. But when it comes to actors like Robin Williams, Gene Wilder Carrie Fisher, Alan Rickman to name a few...I prefer using their real names than the characters they played.

I agree, though some people prefer to honor Robin's memory fondly. Just like I do. Though I don't blame you for believing as you do. Robin was my idol and my inspiration when it comes to comedy.
