None of the Mane Six had anything to do in Shadow Play, either. Nor do they seem to have anything to do in your Shadow Play movie idea. And they should do stuff as individuals, not as a group.
I'm not saying the actual movie didn't make any blunders, but Shadow Play as a movie would be ALL the blunders.
Thanks for the advice
the ponies would have to train with Starswirl and at the aame
time look for the horn of Sombra. A little comedic sub plot where spike hunks he can save the day as "sombra" died due to his interference.
The Mane Six training to fight the bad guy.
Spike having his comedic adventure as a side plot so he’s helping!
NO STARLIGHT YAY!
Brilliant and it gives everyone something to do an contribute. Reminds me of To Boldly Flee in that way. Hmm...
Pinkie: Wait a second. We didn't give the Starlight's a chance to offer her contribution.
The crew looks to the side to find the pondering Starlight in her chair in the corner.
Starlight: My contribution I'll give swiftly, once I think of it, in the confines of my triple protected bunker.
Nah... Critic is still more likable and three-dimensional than Starlight.
I just...Shadow is overratesd. She is Starlight without a horn and just threatening people. That's her screen time. At least we saw Starlight have a breakdown and become insane,
I can see your reason and I haven’t actually seen the movie in order to agree or disagree otherwise.
thkugh your friend made a very good point about being against it
