Hey, guys. Ya know I was pondering the other day why so many people cared when a certain character got a tragedy or happy ending despite all their flaws and people still felt sorry.
Well, here’s a list of the TOP FIVE HEROES WHO I DON’T FEEL FOR.
5. SpongeBob SquarePants
Please note this applies to Modern Day SpongeBob SquarePants. Back in the old days, Spongebob was naive. Good natured but naive, you didn’t feel like he intends to harm Squidward or annoy him. ‘New’ Spongebob, however, openly stated that in one episode, he makes a diary of ways to annoy him. And the most part is ever since the movie, he has received no comeuppance, no comical injuries, nothing. He is always portrayed in the right! This wouldn’t annoy me so much if SpongeBob was meant to be this mean spirited. but it’s a kids show and kids will copy what they see. It’s not the right show for them at all, especially not with this particular character.
4. Homura Akemi
Yeah, I care about the tragedy of the character, I understand the lost of losing a friend. But honestly Homura’s methods were completely wrong. Whilst she does seem like she cares about the others, she will let them die just to keep Madoka save; she even said to Madoka to leave her best friend and tried to kill said best friend. She openly insults Madoka, calling her stupid and useless- keep in mind, she is yandree to Madoka and imprisions her against her own will. Our hero(!)
3. Sly Copper
OK, this one I feel like I need to address this:
NO ONE should lose a parent, no one should have to deal with that pain. However, you’re just begging to die when you do the same the thing that got your father killed. Yes, Sly is meant to be a thief and deliver to the poor but he’s still breaking the law, uses Carmelita’s feelings to help him escape and was just a complete arrogant prick to his friends in the first two games. Yes, he does have redeeming qualities such as his loyalty to his friends. But honestly his attitude towards Carmelita is just disgusting..when ya think he fakes amnesia just to get with her, he drops it when he hears of a heist and EVEN planned to do more behind her back before this heist in the time travelling game. No wonder she wanted him dead.
Now yes, Carmelita is no saint but after how she was treated but you bloody blame him?!
Just listen to my rant of her on youtube..
To put it shortly.
Murders children, entire villages, enjoys the power and brainwashed a hole town because of a ten year old. how is she still forgiven?!
- Sirius Black
Oh god..you think i care he was put in Azkaban? If anything he should been thrown in there the minute he tried killing Snape back in their youth. No remorse. Nothing.
He’s arrogant, reckless, cocky, a terrible godfather to Harry/
Look, i get it. The only reason people liked him was because he seemed cool, but really he was just as bad as Snape; he openly said he wanted to kill Snape, believes all Slytheren can’t be trusted (Not all Death Eaters are from that house, look at Wormtail) and basically just views Harry as a reincarnation of James, always disappointed when he does something James would never do! Hell he even called Harry James.
i don’t care if he was put in prison. As I said, he deserved it.
Leave your thoughts below.
He called Harry James because Harry reminded him of his best friend James. James was closest person to him, his best friend whom he lost.
He even said right to his face 'James would have liked the risk' in utter annoyance that harry doesn't want him to come. Sure, he loved Harry but even Molly acknowledges that Sirius has been acting like he's got his best friend back. Except Harry is nothing like James. He's not a bully or prankster.
I think you will always find some faults in Sirius no matter what because you hate him for some reason. Maybe because you adore Snape....or I don´t know why.
No. I find as bad as each other
You say she sacrifices her own friends? If PMMM couldn't explain her methods (what may be wrong but this is the best she could come up with) try watching Edge of tomorrow - especially the part when Cage tries to get through the enemy barrage on the battlefield where he died, again and again. Watch how he tries to save a comrade of his, then how he gets tired of it all and just gives a resigned shrug. Homura got it all, it's just that the series couldn't show this many timelines. It's a miracle that she's as sane as she is.
You say she imprisons Madoka - well, try to imagine what would have happened if she hadn't. Basically she sacrificed her own happiness and the remains of her self esteem to save her from the Incubators' grasp. Years have passed and I still don't know what else she could have done. Go with her and perpetually fight them? Probably. If she ever thought about this solution she probably rejected the idea as a temporal solution with high risk of eventual failure. Let's see how it ends. It's an experiment I'm running right now in my new fiction.
And for back then: Sayaka had been a constant source of frustration to her, of course she lost her patience... It was Sayaka who often started the avalanche that ended with Madoka either dying and contracting. Of course she isn't nice to her... But could she really sacrifice her? We can't know it for sure. If she killed her at that point it would have been more like a mercy kill than a real sacrifice. "A sacrifice is a choice you make." But it was more like she had given up on her. She knew what would come next, she had seen Sayaka's witch before. Again, Edge of tomorrow.
"What's wrong with a magical girl dress?"
"There's a dead girl in it."
