In 2010, fella released the first comprehensive dictionary for deviants. This dictionary helped with both terms that are unique to deviantART as well as acronyms that may not be found elsewhere. The dictionary has been published and featured on our front page for some time, but, it is missing a lot of items and also hasn't been updated since 2010.
As a result, I am excited to announce that over the next few weeks and months, a team of contributors will be creating a new dictionary that is more accessible, more comprehensive, and created by you.
fella invites you to help with this process. We have created a very easy to use form for submission of acronyms and terms that you want to see defined. Every item that we receive will be reviewed and most likely included. Submit as many times as you want, every word you include will help the community!
Once we have collected responses both from members and contributors, we will create a new and 'upgraded' dictionary.
We will also be publishing some of the more interesting terms in journals to keep everyone in the loop, so stay tuned!
Thanks so much for all of your help!
