I cannot deal with how beautiful these books are. I had to go and find the password to my DA account just so that I could express my longing to own one of these books. I'm supposed to be writing a lesson plan about fossils for third graders right now, but all I can think about is these amazing books. You are amazing and you should feel proud for bringing items of such beauty and wonder into this world. please keep it up!
While you're at it, maybe you could figure out how to make them just as beautifully, but on a smaller more affordable scale so that poor plebeian teacher students such as myself could hope to afford one of these magnificent manuscripts should you ever decide to sell them.

Mostly, though, I just wanted to share my awe at your creation, and now that I have done that, I'll wipe the drool from my book loving, future librarian chin and go bask in my jealously at not having your masterpieces in my collection, lol.

Thanks for sharing, and have a lovely day. :)

Hello,  These books are just beautiful.  I am looking to make a style of book similar to these (my own design of course) so that I can make an art portfolio that is more interesting than just the plastic or aluminum ones you can buy at any art store.  Do you have a tutorial on how to make a book like this or would you be willing to reveal what materials you use?  Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you

Very cool looking books. I've been wanting to make something similar for my daughter (the non-seashell ones). Do you make yours from scratch or around an existing book? Do you have any how-to's? Thanks!

I didn't do any how to tutorials, always a bit too busy. They are scratch build and I think half are my own hand made paper as well. feel free to ask anything if you would like to about building yours :)
