By sheer luck I happened to be in Matsumoto at the start of the week long Evening Cherry Blossom Festival (夜桜会). I thought I would be far too early for cherry blossom but I hit it right in full-bloom.
The illuminated room on the left is the "moon viewing wing". During the festival traditional Japanese musicians perform inside. This evening it was raining so they didn't have much of an audience. I enjoyed it though!

I have always wanted to go to Japan<3 One day I have a plan of going there, I think Japan is so beautiful<3 Nice work!
