What is the software used to make these icons?
This is amazing !
tiheum's avatar
These icons are made with Inkscape, a free vector drawing software for Linux, Windows and OS X.

That's what I thought! It's really great!
I abandoned my study graphic design due to the monopoly of adobe.
But I'm really happy because I am web developer linux now!

And as said "lewtds" it would be really cool to do a tutorial about inkscape and Faenza.

I know that a tutorial is very cool. You are not the first who ask for but I have not find the time yet. Furthermore, English is not my native language, so it will take much longer for me to write a such document.

Plus one for the tutorial! Just curious how long you take to make a single icon?
tiheum's avatar
It depends: some of them are made in ten minutes (in all sizes), some others took a few hours... and several tries.

English is not my native language too.
It's just an idea, I do not want to force you, but you could do a video tutorial in your native language, and you or someone else would make English subtitles.

Very cool indeed. Thank you!
I can already learn a lot by looking through the svgs. But still, there are some mysteries left as to how things are done. When you have more free time, can you please make a tutorial on creating these icons? :bounce:

Very wonderful. Thank you!

Wow tiheum! You continue to impress. Apparently you create things before I've even realized I want them.
