The Moebius Passage

By tigaer
1K Favourites
I actually created that quite a while ago. When I was in the last stages of the creative process I heard that the fabulous Jean Giraud aka Moebius passed away. I admit that I don't know too much about the person, but I can clearly see how his work/art influenced tons of Scifi movies. And me... well I'm influenced by these movies. That's for sure. So I did not have a title for the pic and decided to dedicate this one to Jean Giraud. His art will definitely live on and keep the memory alive.

Hopefully never. I don't think such an industrial looking architecture represents the best kind of society. :)

What kind of society do you think it represents? :)

Most of my scifi cityscape pics represent a kind of 'blade runner'ish feel and look. And that's mostly heavy industrialized. Cities that hold 20-40 million people on the smallest room possible. From my pov that's not a desireable state. Nonetheless I'm deeply fascinated by such city ideas.

I am fascinated by the beauty of the city lights. It doesn't heave to be one of the places that holds over 20 to 40 million people, but I mean when do you think that it will have a futuristic look to it xD

This reminds of the good old cyber punk movies where scenarios like this were believable!

I have no words to say how good is your work Mister.

It's odd, I didn't recognize the name " Jean Giraud", but after Googling his art is familiar. Nice tribute.
