Your photos are so bright and clean, I'm definitely going to watch you. The depth of field is awesome, and as usual, those bright colors really add to the photo. Catching a picture of a fly on a leaf does not sound like an easy task! The lighting is perfect. Another perfect photo!

As always, wonderful macro shot. The colors are nice and to be honest, I have always found the slight iridescence on flies to be strangely beautiful. Great focal work here as it really accentuates the intricacies of the fly's body. Really liking these shots, great work.

:giggle:

Aaanyway. Wow, that's a great macro of something as ordinary as a fly, shows you what art is about :-)
I love the lighting on the fly's eyes and body!

beautiful macro, very detailed =) I tried a few macros too lately, some turned out nice but I guess my cam will never reach that amount of detail :hmm:
and you always have so good, bright and high saturated, yet natural looking colours, I love that =)

that's really quite a nice photo :aww: I quite like the composition, the way the leaf is in the middle. you managed to capture some really nice details and lovely vibrant colours :p good job on the focus as well because it's not always easy ;) as for the frame... I can't decide whether I like it yet or not :ohmygod:

fake? mh you're right, it looks a bit unreal. but it isn't fake. i wonder myself why the fly sat so still there and kept modelling for me. ;) just yesterday i tried again to get some bees in macro shots. no success. they kept flying around... made me damn angry. because normally i don't stay beneath the full noon summer sun to get some clear shots - sweating everywhere. ;) so the fly truly was a lucky incident.

yeqah i see, bad luck with that, i have an idea for you, not sure if it will work but long exposure with the bees, eh? But anyways, other than that it would seem as though you used to much photoshop :p

nice work tiger, good luck with future insects, i know i never have any sucsess!
