Photo - Paid The Price by tigaer Photo - Paid The Price by tigaer
my first shoot with a model. actually no real model... just a friend. my friend had this idea with that tunnel we visited, on a small phototour, a few days ago. so we went to it yesterday to take some more professional shots with tripod and long exposure. we experimented around and finally got some good results.

don't mind the title... there's no big story behind it. i just thought it fits good to the mood.

happy viewing...

ps: visit my friends gallery ~bka-ratte for more shots from our session. he's still a photography learner... but has some talent i try to improve with him.

I love the persperctives used, and the angles.......*thumbs up*
....Holy!, this is the best deviation I've seen so far....
....this is what really comes up to my mind when it comes to art....(I don't know what I have this image stock in my mind, since I was little....), hit the spot!.....

I'll put it as a fav, if you don't mind.....

An industrial lake, with an industrial human waiting for coins to take one over.

Wonderful work.

The angle and tone are insanely cool, great job. Very emotional.

Excellent job man! Very nice shot.

Funny thing, me and my friend did the EXACT same thing! I was his homeless model:

"Come on Marius, get into character! Go roll in that mud and get gritty...", so I did. And I wore a flannel shirt and torn jeans and looked like a pretty good hobo. And he also gave me a cigarette, even though I DESPISE smoking. Fun times.

He uses a film camera, and we didn't end up scanning the photos :(.

Anyways, back to YOU... good job :D

mediedie Featured By Owner Oct 24, 2004
pheew.. i first thought for a second from the preview that it was someone somehow stuck and hurt in an elevator tunnel... hehe
nice shot

From thumbnail point of view this looked like a shaft going down into the ground.. I think its just the angle you shot from. But you could do some great pics from that view poiint (Pretending it was a shaft)
I imagine him trying to climb up the side

The light at the other end of the tunnel is a really nice touch..

Mach weiter so!

:headbang:

Interesting perspective Chris. A close up of your friend would be nice. His silhouette would come up nicely against the light at the end of the tunnel. This photo is a stark resemblance to our urban life where the rich gets richer and the poorer...well just look. :)
passenger-nq Featured By Owner Jul 4, 2004
tigaer Featured By Owner Jul 6, 2004  Professional Digital Artist
:) - thanks :)

Great shot, i love the angle and i'm glad u used an interesting twist on it, lighting is also great!
brokenangel Featured By Owner Jul 3, 2004

The angle you chose works very well here, with the light and all, and yer friend, though not quite in focus, gives the photo the needed touch *nodnod*
tigaer Featured By Owner Jul 3, 2004  Professional Digital Artist
- thanks :)

Really nice I like it a lot, might not be original, but it is great anyway.
sunsmoon Featured By Owner Jul 3, 2004
I love how the it gets darker the further down the tunnel you let your eyes travel, then there's light. Such meaning.

This is beautiful. I love the colors and the lines.. and the texture. +fav
