Come A Little Closer

Finished this a while ago. Months actually. Never found the right time to upload it. UNTIL NOW! I really really enjoy the result I got here. The fact that I have a 100x76cm canvas print of it in my room probably tells. The pic has so many things I enjoy. Especially the depth and lighting. It's not flawless though. Especially in the working process I used some not very efficient techniques. In the end who cares... the result works good for me.

The creative spark was the idea of these square rocks built into the architecture. Nothing new, I agree... but I wanted to play with this. The other thing I wanted to play with was some sort of platform with a grand view on the outside world. From there it all fell into place and resulted in what we can see there now.
