Senkaku Mei is the mascot for Anime Revolution, an anime and Japanese culture convention in Vancouver, BC, Canada. www.animerevolution.ca
As a thank you to the CEO, I made a 2D animation featuring the convention mascot, Senmei. They have a 3D version, but I wanted to see a 2D version as well
.
The first scene is the famous Canada Place where AniRevo is hosted in downtown Vancouver. I decided to integrate the gears as an effect considering AniRevo's logo includes them and I needed some reason for Senmei to be able to fly around in the sky lol. I ended up ditching the idea of Senmei landing on the post/roof because I couldn't get it to work well with the camera moves.
