OMG.  You guys.  Hi.  Um.. so sorry I disappeared for a year.  That sounds so lame.  I mean, I've been here, I try to log in and at least read my messages once a week or so, even though I don't reply to them.  I'm sorry.  I've never been good at replying to comments, and the last year of my life has been something of a haze.  That's my excuse, anyway.  I've been working two jobs for the last year, twelve to fourteen hours a day, six days a week.  Every once in a while I've had a whole weekend off, or taken some vacation time, but generally, the time has gone by so fast because I'm constantly busy.  I've gotten so used to it that on the rar...

I can't believe it took my two months to finish two pictures.  I really have to learn to work faster, because that's just silly.Good grief, what on earth have I been doing this year?  My last finished piece if from December.  That's just not right!  Oh!  Also, I want to take a quick moment to recommend :icontentopet:'s perspective grids, which are on her website .  I've never been very good with perspective, so they were an immense help with one of my latest pieces.  They're probably more useful in Photoshop because you can flip them around or stretch/squash them, etc., but you could also print them out to use with traditional media.

Hey, guys.  I've had a family thing happening lately, with my grandmother being ill, so I apologize (again, for the Nth time) for being unproductive and not finishing the gift art I promised to people.  My grandmother is fine, so don't worry, her heart rate just jumped up very high all of a sudden, so she's in the hospital having some tests done.  I'm not worried anymore, but I didn't get much sleep the last couple of nights.  I'm hoping to hear back about a job here soon, at a local gallery, but at the same time I'm not going to get my hopes up too high.  Still, that has sort of preoccupied my thoughts, along with stress at my current job...
