I'm not sure actually. I wouldn't be surprised if newcomers to DA would jump on if they see them and are inspired themselves to do so.

I just meant that for new people it still might be inspiring.
As for commissions, I think the best way to try get a commission for this is to find an artist who is curious or has done Pixel Art and request them about it.
When I did it, it was because I was curious about Pixel Art, so I'm sure other artists out there would also be open for it too.
