Conejo Valley Botanic Garden 6 by thzinc Conejo Valley Botanic Garden 6 by thzinc
Since I have been working in Thousand Oaks, I have been interested in exploring the rich natural park system found within the city's limits. Many of the parks are maintained by the Conejo Open Space Foundation, which does a great job of keeping the trails open and clean, the parks well-preserved, and the experience of nature pristine.

This photo was shot on March 20, 2010 when I went to the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden with ~zuzi and *calivinguy.

I absolutely love the colors and warmth of this image. The depth of field and textures are just wonderful!

Thanks muchly! I had a lot of fun trying to shoot this. The plant was a huge bush intertwined with another plan, and several of these spiny-looking branches were jutting out.
