As the suns rays, are blotted out by dark clouds,
There I will be, offering a flashlight.
As the darkest hour passes before the dawn,
There I will be, to show the way.
As the streams dry up, and the sun rages on,
There I will be, with canteens of water.
As you stumble and fall, trying to climb higher,
There I will be, with rope and the right gear.
As you find yourself, failing to tread water,
There I will be, with a boat and life preserver.
As the world around you, overwhelms your senses,
There I will be, with earmuffs and open arms.
As the Earth beneath your feet, shakes to give way.
There I will be, with a car to out run it.
As life continues to push you down,
As you fight,
As you struggle,
There I will be, to offer you my hand, and HOPE.
