The Voice of Mukasa

Wow, it’s been forever since I’ve done one of these! But I’m excited to dive back in—and yes, I do have a few voice actors in mind for the rest of my OCs. After spending the past few weeks rewatching Sleepy Hollow for the first time since it originally aired back in late 2013, I knew I had to choose none other than Tom Mison for the voice of Mukasa.

Tom is best known for his lead role as Ichabod Crane in Fox’s supernatural drama Sleepy Hollow (2013–2017), as well as his portrayal of the clones of Mr. Phillips and the Game Warden in HBO’s Watchmen miniseries. Personally, I know and admire him most for his role as Ichabod Crane. In the series, Crane is a brilliant, witty, and deeply principled man—driven by duty, fiercely loyal to his friends, and devoted to the greater good. He’s honorable, selfless, and always puts others before himself.

These are all qualities I see in Mukasa, which is why I think Tom’s voice and presence would be a perfect match. Mukasa, like Crane, carries the weight of responsibility with grace, and it's that sense of honor and purpose that will shape him into a great king once Queen Kiara’s reign comes to an end.
