Thank You For Everything Mom

I didn't want to do this idea at first because I already planned out the future between both Tiifu and Kion's lives after they split up. But a fellow Deviant came to me with a question a few weeks ago "Who would choose for Kion to be his mate, Rani or Tiifu?" I answered I preferred Tiifu of course. But I tried to think of the best solution that would fit into my story that wouldn't have Rani losing her life. But I just couldn't come up with any alternative ideas that would leave Rani alive. So I decided to off her with the idea that she was expecting another cub and Shani is overjoyed with the news that she'll get to be a big sister at last instead of her being the youngest half-sister to her older fun and loving half-siblings, Uzani and Shujaa. As the months drew closer to Rani's birthing time she had been experiencing some complications with her pregnancy while Nirmala is helping to make the birthing Queen more comfortable during the process of giving birth to the cub. After a few spasms and pushes of getting the cub out Nirmala notices that Rani is bleeding heavily she can barely keep her eyes open because she is so tired and just wants to sleep. Rani eventually successfully delivers a healthy male cub who squeals loudly for his mother's milk. Nirmala realizes what is happening and leaves for a quick second to fetch Kion and Shani. She is back in seconds with them both while Queen Rani is on the brink of death. Kion and Shani bend down to Rani's level as she opens her eyes slightly and smiles at her family and including her new son. Rani tells Kion and Shani both good-bye, that she loves them both and that Shani is to be the next Queen of the Tree of Life and to take care of her brother. She slowly dies as Shani looks on in total shock at the loss of her mother. Shani immediately nuzzles her father upon the death of Rani as she cries loudly into his mane. Kion looks up to the roof of the tree as tears flow down his face as he then closes his eyes and sobs harder. Nirmala in the meantime had left to inform Baliyo and Surak of Rani's death. I know it's very sad and tragic that it came to this but Shani eventually tells her dad to return to The Pride Lands and make things right with Tiifu and she understands completely that he always still loved Tiifu and to make it work once more. While Shani takes care of things like the New Queen of the Tree of Life.
