Shujaa and Uzani Meet Baraka

King Kion and his two cubs he shared through his ex-mate, Tiifu where enjoying some time together but for awhile now he's been oddly quiet. Shujaa and Uzani were wondering why they weren't going to the tree to visit their new little half sister yet all their dad kept saying was that "he had a surprise to show them first." Uzani looked towards her brother with even more curiosity to which Shujaa only gave her a simple shrug in response. When they finally arrived at a nearby tree. They find Baliyo under the tree and he seemed to be holding something light brown in the curve of his forepaws as surprised shock and excitement as they raced ahead of Kion the happy father couldn't help but chuckle lightheartedly at the excitement bustling through both of his Pride Land offspring right now.

Uzani: "Hi Baliyo!"

Shujaa: "What's up Baliyo!"

Baliyo turned his attention towards the pair of siblings and smiled as Kion wasn't far behind them.

Baliyo: "Well look who's gracing themselves with their presence once again all the way from the Pride Lands. How are you Uzani and Shujaa?"

Shujaa: "We've been great! And everyone in the Pride Lands is doing well."

Baliyo: "Good! That's great kids. Have you met your new sister yet?"

Uzani: "We're going to meet her next but Dad thought Rani should get some sleep before we meet her."

Baliyo: "That sounds like an excellent idea. My sister has certainly been seeing a lot of visitors in the last few days so they can get a glimpse of my new niece."

Shujaa: "Dad told us about the second cub... I'm so sorry, Baliyo."

Baliyo sighed sadly and looked up to the clouds slowly traveling along in the vast blue sky before looking back at the two older cubs.

Baliyo: "These things happen sometimes. But Raja is taking it the hardest."

Shujaa's eyes widened in shock when he heard this news but as Raja's big brother it was Shujaa's job to comfort and try to advise him at what to do in situations like this.

Shujaa: "I'll talk to Raja later and maybe spend some one on one time with him."

Kion: "Thank you, my son. I'm sure your brother will like that. And speaking of brothers... Baliyo if you please."

Baliyo nodded and opened up his forepaws as a small brown lion creature with what appeared to be stripes and tufts of lighter fur on the sides of its face began to crawl towards the pair of siblings. Shujaa jumped back suddenly in fright and even hissed at the small little striped feline that crawled before them. Meanwhile Uzani sniffed the little kitten curiously as she seemed to fall in love at the very sight of it. As Shujaa was still hissing Kion and Baliyo burst out into laughter.

Shujaa: "What's so funny?!"

Uzani: "They're laughing because you are so scared of a cute little thing like this." Uzani gently picked the kitten in her mouth and placed him in front of her brother with a big smirk on her face."

Shujaa: "Oh shut up, Uzani!" Shujaa began to sniff the cub over carefully."

Uzani: "Daddy? What is this cub supposed to be and more inportantly were are his parents?"

Kion: "Sit down you two and let me tell you what happened." 

~ Sometime Later~

Uzani: "That's horrible. I'm so glad you were able to rescue him." Uzani smiled at her adopted brother lovingly as she licked his forehead.

Shujaa: "This Banya sounds like a bad lion. If I ever see him I'll--"

Kion: "You'll do no such thing my son. That lion is extremely dangerous and I want you both to avoid him at all costs."

Uzani: "We'll certainly do that, Dad. But what if we do run into him by chance?"

Kion: "Run! If he has you trapped or cornered defend yourselves as best you can you are members of the Lion Guard and no one can ever beat the two of you. In the meantime are you ready to meet your sister?"

Uzani: "Absolutely!

Shujaa: "I forgot to ask, Dad does our liger brother have a name?" 

Kion: "Yes... His name is Baraka."
