Searching for Shani

This wasn't good not good at all for both Shujaa and Uzani where in deep trouble with their father, Kion and Rani if they knew that the older cubs had misplaced their much younger sister, Shani they would be in serious trouble with their father and possibly never be trusted with watching young cubs again and would lose Rani's trust forever. As Uzani looked around the ledge of the small pond Shujaa was sniffing around the small patches of grass. Shani was close but her smell was starting to fade slowly.

Shujaa: "She's not in the water?"

Uzani: ""Not from what I can see! Oh where could she be, Shujaa?"

Shujaa: "Calm down, Uzani. We will find Shani before Dad and Rani discover she's missing."

Uzani: "I only hope you're right, brother..."

As the two continue to sniff around the area a light brown lioness with two different color eyes appears out of the tall grass holding the princess in between her jaws. Shujaa and Uzani look up to see Maua walk gracefully over to the siblings.

Uzani: "Shani!" The young lioness rushes over to Maua as she takes her sister by the scruff from Maua's mouth. "Thank you, Maua!"

Maua: "It is my duty, Uzani."

Shujaa: "Uh... Hey, Maua. Where did you find her?"

Maua: "Princess Shani was hiding in some tall grass behind me she was crawling after a caterpillar."

Shujaa: "Well thanks for finding our sister. Our dad would have been pissed if he heard Shani didn't come home with us."

Maua: "Well he didn't hear it from me." She winks her ice blue eye at Shujaa and he blushes as he quickly turns away.

Uzani: "Anyway we should be getting back to the tree you coming, Shujaa?" 

Shujaa: "Sure... Thanks again, Maua!"

Maua: "My pleasure." She begins to turn around and walk back the way she came.

As Uzani and Shujaa for the tree he looks at his sister who has a smug grin on her face.

Shujaa: "What!?"

Uzani: "You like her don't you?"

Shujaa: "No! I... Um... Uh... Shut up, Uzani!" His face lit up as bright as a cherry as he walked with his head bent down trying to hide his shame from her sight."

Uzani: "Hahaha! I knew it!"
