Rescuing the Queen

Up high in the snowy mountains Uzani and Shujaa are on a dangerous trek climbing up an icy ledge to find their Stepmother, Queen Rani. Once their father, King Kion had recovered from his scare of hyperthermia. Kion had explained to his family of what happened.  Apparently on their way home from having to resolve some troubling issues between the penguins and polar bears. Once a settlement had been agreed upon between the two species thank their rulers and went their sperate ways as the royal couple headed for home. That's when a blinding snowstorm hit from out of nowhere slowing down their trek. Their bodies began to feel the effects of the cold that's when Kion explained he felt a strong paw knock him both in the face and he remembered seeing two sets of eyes coming out of the blizzard when he regained his footing. These where some type of type of white lions and nothing like the stories of the Great Kimba the White Lion who lived in a faraway jungle far away from the Pride Lands from the stories Grandpa Simba and Grandma Nala always used to tell their grand cubs when they were much younger. These lions looked like they were made to live in a cold climate and as Kion had looked up at the strong lions he saw the smaller of the two had Rani draped over his shoulders and was out cold as Kion struggled to rise up and attack the two the two lions but then he was simply knocked back down and that's when he lost consciousness and then woke up to see the faces of Shujaa, Uzani, and even his ex-wife, Tiifu was there in the Tree of Life as he woke up. That's when his two firstborns had decided to return to the snowy mountains and find out where these mystery snow lions had taken the queen to Kion had protested to this idea but reassurance from both Tiifu and his sister, Kiara had convinced him otherwise. He had to face facts and both Uzani and Shujaa where entering their teens and they had much more experience in these sorts of situations than any other cub their age and if that was the case Tiifu would have agreed with her cub's father but she had faith in both her son and daughter that they could do this and with that and learning a brief history lesson from Surak that these lions where once supposed to be conjoined as one big pride in marriage between their Reigning Prince, Vihar and Rani to bring much needed peace between them but it ended up in the death of Rani and Baliyo's parents that Queen Janna ended up exiling the Winter Pride off their territory but Surak had felt for years even long after the death of his mother that one day they would return in seek of vengeance and that's where we find Shujaa and Uzani now as Shujaa helps his sister reach the top ledge of the mountain they are greeted by a lion that matched Surak's description perfectly. Shujaa growled as he unsheathed his claws and took on a threatening stance.

Uzani: "Are you Vihar?"

Vihar: “I am my dear. And you two may address me as ‘King Vihar’.”

Shujaa: “We’re not doing that, Vihar! All we’re here for is the queen!”

Vihar: “Why Rani isn’t a prisoner here… She’s my honorary guest. But if you’re insist on checking out her condition just to prove a point then by all means.”

Vihar whispered something into one of his fellow pride member’s ears and then the snow lioness went in to fetch Rani and a few moments later Rani emerged out into the frosty cold air.

Rani: “SHUJAA! UZANI! Thank the stars you’re here!”

Uzani: “Are you alright, Rani?”

Shujaa: “Did they harm you in anyway?”

Rani: “I’m fine but now that you’re both here I just want to go home.”

Uzani: “Okay! We can go now if you want.”

Vihar: “At least let my noble guards escort you to the edge of our territory.”

Vihar nudged his head back towards two of his bodyguards.
