Description

(Just a heads up I'm making some slight changes with Banya's story in this submission so it fits in with what's going on in my stories.)

Vihar was on a long and quiet stroll through his frozen kingdom one morning alone. This was the times he savored the most. Not being pestered continuously with obnoxious questions from the useless females that where nothing but skin and constantly pleading with their superiors and him as their king for even a decent scrap of food like they where entitled to it and to feed their pathetic spawn who barely had enough energy to even lift their tiny heads to suckle for milk from their mothers. If these little whores could stop reproducing for a time they could focus on taking care of themselves before focusing on others. Vihar wondered how much longer he had to endure this tiresome reign of his day after bloody day. He let out a deep sigh of defeat and plopped himself down where he stood. If only Rani hadn’t rejected him. Had he been made her king they would be living such peaceful lives and even their daughter would have a better life then how she had been living. Vihar had no idea where his precious Amelanniwa was he did have a few ideas one thought that had crossed his mind was that dreaded Kion had killed her. It was natural for another lion to kill the previous ruler’s young and Vihar himself would do it in a heartbeat but the fact that golden tyrant would harm his precious heir made him sick to his stomach. She was the living product that would bring their kingdoms together and with her no where in sight he would have to plan carefully for a counter attack as he sit there thinking of a strategy of how he was going to go about it.

Hearing crunching in the thick snow Vihar thought it was one of his right pawed lions turning around he was expecting Hovihar to give him a recent report but as Vihar stood and turned to face the newcomer it wasn't neither Hovihar or any of his other council or loyal followers. This lion instead was a very large brown lion in size and he seemed to look on the older side with a very nasty scar covering his left eye. Vihar wasn't sure who this old man was or where he came from but as soon as Vihar got a closer look he saw what looked to be the Mark of the Night Pride on his right but unlike the regular Marks of the Night Pride where colors a shade darker or lighter then of ones respective pelt color this one was a shade of green and it was defiantly not any normal shade of green but a very corruptive shade in color. Vihar narrowed his eyes and with his ice blue claws extended he growled at the newcomer.

???: "Stay at ease Ice King. I'm not here to start any conflict."

Vihar: "Who are you, stranger and why have you entered my territory unannounced? You should know that trespassers are not tolerated when entering my lands weather you are aware of it or not."

???: "Oh I'm very well aware of your boundaries, King Vihar but you and I have something in common."

Vihar didn't know if he should trust this stranger or not but he kept his fighting stance in place and claws still extended.

Vihar: "What's your name? If you don't mind my curiosity since you seem to know me so very well."

???: "Of course a king deserves answers and I will be happy to answer all of your questions first off my name is Banya and my story is a really interesting tale I think you would deeply enjoy."

As Banya and Vihar walked and talked the two males told each others tales and Vihar found Banya an interesting individual for an old man anyway but he still had plenty of fight left in his old and worn body. According to Banya back when he and Rani's parents where still alive and as cubs coming into their teenage stage of life Banya was once a member of the Night Pride and dutiful to protect the kingdom from the outside threats. He was once a loyal to the royal family of the Tree of Life and even good friends with both Sâhasí and Surak. However, something suddenly snapped inside of Banya's head when he was just starting to get his mane. The lion slowly became surprisingly aggressive, self-interested and incredibly dismissive towards the ones he once considered as his friends. Banya also began to develop a sociopathic traits, secretly mistreating other animals of the Tree of Life with the cruel and remorseless manner and vowing to silence them personally if they turn him in to the rulers of the Tree of Life. Banya also began to develop a extreme desire for power, feeling disgusted by the idea of serving the animals of the Tree of Life instead of ruling them by the way he believed was the way how "true king" should rule. However, Banya knew that as long as the royal family of the Tree of Life (Queen Janna, her mate and the king of the Tree of Life, crown prince Sâhasí, his future mate Ãnanda, and Prince Surak.)  and their legacy lived, he could never rule the Tree of Life. And so, Banya began to plot a one-lion revolution against the royal family of the Tree of Life. First he started a killing spree throughout the kingdom, killing all the animals he had threatened previously in order to lure half of the Night Pride out of the Tree to investigate the situation so that the way to the Queen Janna, her mate and their sons would be open for him. The teenage lion's plan was partly successful as he managed to lure only Sâhasí and Surak out of the Tree, Ãnanda with the rulers, so Banya impatiently moved in to murder part of the royal family. Banya managed to murder Queen Janna's mate in front of his loved ones, but was tackled by Sâhasi and Surak before he could kill either Ãnanda or Queen Janna. The battle between the former friends was fierce, leaving all three lions severely wounded. When Banya had knocked Surak out of his way and was getting an upper paw over Sâhasi, preparing to kill him, Ãnanda did a very valiant act and swiped the evil lion with her claws, damaging his left eye permanently. This allowed both Sâhasi and Surak gain the upper paw over Banya and eventually defeat him. After Banya was defeated, Queen Janna exiled him from the Tree of Life forever. Banya left voluntarily, but not before vowing to one day end Queen Janna's whole bloodline and take over the Tree of Life for himself. Not long after Banya's exile, Sâhasi, who had suffered too many injuries during the fight to protect his mother and beloved had to have one of his back legs amputated because if it wasn't severed he could have died he would one day still be king but as far as hunting for himself he had to rely on others to get his meals for him. Banya's betrayal sadly left half of the Night Pride killed, Ãnanda orphaned, Surak and Sâhasi without their father and Queen Janna a widow. His betrayal also turned his Mark of the Night Pride from its natural color into a sickly green as a symbol of his treachery and evil heart.

As Vihar listened intently his purple eyes shone with wonder and awe. He never knew another tyrant could have existed he himself had been with a dark heart in his younger years once in love with Rani but he never knew someone else especially within the Night Pride could be so corrupt even if they where only a generation apart it was then Vihar began to tell his own tale of how his own pride was once in an alliance with the remaining survivors of Banya's assassination. Vihar's father, The Late King Jado decided to take advantage of the small pride and offer any assistance the residents of The Tree of Life may need assistance with once Queen Ãnanda began to put her trust in the Winter Pride she and King Sâhasi made it official that the Winter Pride where welcome to stay for as long as they like but he only made this announcement to put his queen's mind at ease. Jado thanked the royals for their hospitality and as requested by Janna Jado and Sâhasi agreed for the good of their kingdoms (but not agreeing with his mother's request) that when Vihar and Rani would become of age they would join together in marriage to bring their prides together to form one big pride. This ended up backfiring when Jado showed his true colors and intentions and this eventually ended in the executions of the young rulers. With tears and anger Janna exiled the entire Winter Pride and Rani had been rejecting Vihar ever since.

Vihar: "So you see Banya... I've been trying to get Rani ever since but my attempts to make her my queen have always been unsuccessful. But maybe we can work together and I can help you with your own personal matters and all you have to do is ask."

Banya: "I will take you up on that offer Vihar. But consider us now as allies helping each other."

Vihar: "You have a deal, my new friend."

Banya is not my character he belongs to :iconthrough-the-movies: and I have his permission to use any of his characters in my stories.

The Mark of Evil base is actually from my LyonRyan account, Celestia25 reuploaded it even though there wasn't a need to.
