One Mighty Powerful Roar Coming Up!

On one journey to The Tree of Life Chiku and Lion Guard where stopped at a beach to take a rest. That was until Chiku and the others had run into one her oldest friends, Amana who used to live in the Pride Lands a couple of seasons ago felt she wasn't meant to stay in one place all her life. Amana had always felt she was meant for so much more and figured herself as a free-spirited lioness that was meant for adventure. So she left her old home behind never to place her paws in the Pride Lands again but Chiku would when she got the chance would seek out her dear friend for an adventure in her off time from her Junior Lion Guard duties.

On this particular journey Chiku was short two members from her team. Shujaa had since moved to the Tree of Life to be with his beloved Maua and he did admit before he left that he mossed seeing his parents on a daily basis so he gave up his Mark of the Guard for the Mark of the Night Guard instead so they where short a Strongest Member for the time being while she searched for the perfect animal to replace Shujaa with. Kibo on the other paw had to remain behind at Pride Rock while the girls and Mgomo go on ahead with their plans to visit Kion and Tiifu at The Tree of Life.

While everyone was resting Chiku and Mgomo together decided to do some hunting in separate areas. Chiku decided to try her skills at fishing and even though she wasn't very good at it she did give it her all and ended up coming back with two very large and very plump fish she hand her friends and cousin could share amongst themselves.

Meanwhile back near the edge of the beach trouble was spewing for Amana, Heshima, and Uzani where now surrounded by a band of animals who identified themselves as pirates and they seemed to all be well acquainted with Amana but both Uzani and Heshima got into position to fight back at the ready if they had to while Amana remained totally relaxed with a smirk on her face.

Amana: "Well if it isn't my old friends the crew of the Drifting Menace! What brings you lot out here?"

Amana stands in between her two friends as they didn't let their guard down for a moment as they where surrounded and not opening of escape.

The gorilla of the group of pirates took a step forward punching his fists together.

Kono: "You know why we're here, you cursed wench."

Amana: "Oh don't tell me the dear old capitan is still angry about the hole I put in your precious '𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙘𝙚' when we last met."

Hinsssa: "You owe usss sssome new materialsss if you refussse I will not hesssitate to  sssqueeze you and your friendsss until your eyesss pop out from your skullsss!" 

Amana:  "Oh that's rich coming from a slithering demon such as yourself! Do you always like to pick on those smaller and weaker then you Hinsa?"

Hinsssa: "Why you insssolent little bi--"

Ocelot: "Save your energy for a much tougher fight Hinsssa these three mangy curs die much quicker by my claws."

Tolbo: "Save the pretty lioness for me. I've seen her before while visiting Cousin Chuluun with her brother, Shujaa I believe his name is. They're the cubs of King Kion!"

Cyrch: "So His Majesty can't stay loyal to one mate! Perhaps he's worthy of the Mark of the Pirate after all!"

Uzani: "My father would NEVER sink so low to the level you filthy scum reside on! You mention my family in such a disrespectful manner again!" Uzani extended her claws and began to hiss. "You will all live to regret it!"

Sunka: "Careful lass. We don't take kindly to threats made against the crew of the Drifting Menace!" 

Gil: "And since you and your tiger friend are new to meeting us we will let you off with only ONE warning."

The crew stepped to the side to let the big gorilla known as Kono pass as he stopped in front of Uzani. She stood her ground but still felt timid in his presence as he lowered his face to hers.

Kono: "You're very lucky my caption isn't here to hear your petty threats, wench. He's not always so understanding like me sometimes. Just remember nobody threatens this crew and gets away with it Scot-Free."

???: "I also don't appreciate it when folks make threats idle against my Lion Guard especially if some of those members are my family!"

The entire crew of the Drifting Menace all looked up to see Chiku making her stand while Mgomo stood back."

Uzani: "Chiku!"

Mgomo: "Everything okay down there, Stripes?"

Heshima: "Nothing we can't handle, Feathers!"

Chiku: "Amana, Heshima, Uzani! Better stand back somewhere safe."

Uzani: "You got it cuzz!"

Amana: "Wait... Why are we hiding?

Heshima: "Oh you'll see in a moment."

Uzani winks at Amana with a smirk on her face.

Uzani: "This is gonna be fun!"

Chiku: "I don't expect any of you to follow a civilized manner because you're all pirates but that doesn't mean you have the right to threaten my comrades with violence and death!"

Suka: *Mockingly* "Oh I'm shaking in my core! What will do to us sweet one, Claw us with your baby claws?"

This earned a bellowing laughter from the coyote's crewmembers all except for Kono who wasn't laughing.

Kono: "ALRIGHT, YOU LAZY DOGS! After the little twerp! She'll make a wonderful shiny new trophy for Captian Mwovu's collection!"

Chiku: "You're all going to regret ever messing with the Lion Guard!"

Chiku takes her stands and narrows her jungle green eyes as they began to let off an illuminating glow of power as the Lions of the Past began to appear behind her in the clouds and Chiku unleashes  the Roar of the Elders, driving back the pirates and sending them all flying straight into the ocean.

Amana was agape with shock as her friend came leaping down the cliff her prey of fish in her jaws.

Amana: "You never cease to amaze me, Chiku! I had no idea you could do that! What power you carry within you!"

Chiku: "The Roar of the Elders. It's a power each leader of the Lion Guard leader carries with each passing generation. I used to be terrible at using my roar a long time ago but with the help of my Uncle Kion and Aunt Vitani I was able to master The Roar eventually."

Amana: "You have to tell me more about the Lion Guard. It sounds way beyond cool!"

Uzani: "We're certainly all lucky to be apart of it! Aren't we guys?"

Mgomo and Heshima nodded in response.    

Chiku: "Well let's not let these fish go to waste! We'll all settle down somewhere more safer and out of view from prying eyes."

Amana: "I know of a place where no one will disturb us! Follow me you lot and don't fall behind!

Chiku: "Aye Captian!"

Amana smiles at this as Chiku winks in response. The five friends all head down the beach together each carrying some of Chiku's catch in their mouths as the sun starts to set into the ocean horizon for the evening.
