Nzuri's Peace Offering

After an argument had broken out between Uzani and Mzuri that even though Uzani didn't want to admit it left her spirit feeling broken. Now it's a couple of days later and Uzani's mother, Tiifu was getting concerned about her daughter not eating and Nzuri catches Lady Tiifu conversing with her mother, Zuri about her concerns why Uzani isn't eating. After overhearing  this Nzuri decides to take a hunk of zebra meat with her so she and Uzani could possibly share it together. As she's about to descend Pride Rock she runs into Queen Kiara whose overlooking her kingdom as the sun begins to rise high up into the sky. Nzuri places her meal down and bows to her ruler.

𝐍𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐢: "𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲. 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠... 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐔𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐬? 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐳𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫."

Kiara turns around and smiled kindly at the young tawny brown lioness. She was well aware of the constant teasing between her niece and her own daughter Chiku as well as Nzuri and Mzuri but it warmed her heart to see Nzuri was trying to do better she only hoped that one day Mzuri could be kinder like her own sister would.

𝐊𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚: "𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐰 𝐔𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮?"

Kiara cocked her head thoughtfully as she let the young cub look thoughtful for a few moments.

𝐍𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐢: "𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲. 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬. 𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲!"

𝐊𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚: "𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐍𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐢."

And with that Nzuri takes off to cheer Uzani up.

   

Nzuri finds just the lioness she was looking for and it seemed it was as if she was talking to her dead grandfather and she was glad this was one of those times that Mzuri wasn't with Nzuri because she would think talking to the dead was '𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙥𝙞𝙙' or '𝙍𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙨'. Her sister was one of those animals that didn't believe in the '𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧' and once you where gone you where gone. Nzuri herself didn't know what to believe but she was certainly open to the idea that her loved ones who had passed on where still out there existing even beyond their lifetimes.

Nzuri suddenly began to make her way down to Uzani and made her presence known as she catches Uzani wiping away her tears before looking up at the tawny brown lioness cub that stood before her a hunk of zebra flesh in her jaws as she placed it down.

𝐔𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐢: "𝐎𝐡, 𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐍𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐢. 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐳𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐭?"

𝐍𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐢: "𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐔𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐢. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐦 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐭 𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠."

𝐔𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐢: "𝐈 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫, 𝐍𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲."

Nzuri frowned in slight disappointment but her lavender eyes were full of nothing but sympathy for the Fastest of the Jr. Lion Guard.

𝐍𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐢: "𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫. 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐨𝐧! 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫."

This makes Uzani perk up suprised.

Nzuri chuckles and she sits right next to Uzani.

𝐍𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐢: "𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬. 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐞. 𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐳𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚.
