Nala Tells Simba How It Is!

After Simba got injured in an ambush set up by Zira, Nala cared for him at Pride Rock. She then saw Kovu arrive and watched Kiara go to greet him, only to be stopped by Simba. Nala looked on as Kiara tried and failed to get Simba to listen to Kovu. Simba ultimately banished Kovu from the Pride Lands due to his part in Zira's plot, and Nala expressed shock and horror at the decision. Once Kovu had been driven away, Kiara and Simba got into a shouting match over him. Kiara tried to convince Simba to reconsider his decision but he was not having it. He simply told her that she could not go anywhere without an escort from then on. He went on that Kovu had used her to get to him, but Kiara insisted that Kovu loved her for who she was. Simba surmised that Kovu was following in Scar's pawprints, then stated that he himself must follow in Mufasa's. Kiara declared that he would never be Mufasa, then fled into the den in tears. As soon as Kiara is in the den Nala steps up calling Simba out for his rash decisions and judging others before getting to know them. She tells him what he did by exiling Kovu was uncalled for and lets him know by what he'd just done he may have tarnished his relationship with their daughter forever.
