My Pride: These Cubs Aren't So Bad After All

One hot afternoon Nothing is laying on the ground. As usual she was felt to babysit Feather and his two annoying sisters while the rest of the pride went to fetch dinner. Nothing's family had been away for many hours and the cubs where getting restless as they crawled all over Nothing trying to get her up and play with them. Nothing couldn't have been more relived when she saw Waterhunter roar out calling to her cubs at once Feather and both of his sisters went to greet their parents. As Waterhunter gives her cubs a lecture about leaving the older lionesses alone when they want to be left alone should respect their wishes and not pester them into their games. Quickmane who is looming nearby on the other paw just glares at Nothing with yet another look of disapproval. Nothing just roles her eyes and only focuses on looking at Waterhunter and the cubs. Nothing smiles suddenly and is taken back to a simpler time when her father, Starmane was still the mane of her pride. When Spark was alive and when Fire lived with her. How she wished to relive those years again. Before her mother, Powerstrike became bitter and cold towards Nothing. As Nothing watched the cubs with their mother she began to think that maybe these three weren't so bad after all. Waterhunter had been a good aunt to her and Fire during the time Powerstrike was too busy raising Silentstalk and Farleap to even notice her two surviving cubs from her previous mate even still existed. Waterhunter was a great mother and no doubt Nothing thought that someday these three would grow up into the best lions that they where meant to be.
