My Pride: I'll Miss Sharptounge too, Mother.

This is probably one the worst scenes in "My Pride" that I just can't stand Powerstrike that ever since Nothing's accident, she doesn't acknowledge the fact that Nothing is her daughter. I hope she'll turn her attitude around before the end of Season 1 if Nothing does decide to go back to the Sister's Steppe that is... This scene here is from Episode 3: "The Calling" Nothing's grandmother and Powerstrike's mother, Sharptounge passed away from old age and sickness in this episode. Sharptongue starts telling the story about Sunce's fires in the Emerald Valley but gets a coughing fit halfway through the story. Between her wheezing breaths, she tells Nothing to find the Shifting Place, where Sunce's eye is blind. She tells Nothing that only she can end the cycle before she coughs more, eventually dying from her sickness. Nothing is seen roaring to call for Asra so that she can take Sharptongue's spirit to the stars. Hover and Nothing meet once again, Nothing cries and tells Hover she feels alone now that Sharptongue is gone. Hover does her best to console Nothing before telling her that she is going to join Nothing's pride. Nothing speaks with Powerstrike and does get a little emotional at her mother's recent passing as Nothing approaches her mother to console her by touching her paw. Powerstrike snaps at Nothing and says in an angry tone "Don't touch me! I don't want your pity." That quote from Powerstrike made me so mad. Nothing was showing sorrow and compassion towards Powerstrike and was trying to share in with the same sorrow her mother felt and she wasn't the only one to lose Sharptounge and that was the attitude Powerstrike chose to respond to her daughter's act of comfort. Powerstrike owes Nothing a HUGE apology and if she encounters Nothing again I hope she does say "I'm sorry." and truly mean it from the heart.
