Kion's Scar P3: What Have I Done?

Part 3 is finally here. Sorry for the delay but I hope you all enjoy it.

Just as Kovu reaches his cubs just in the nick of time before Kion could strike. Kovu charges toward him, surprising Kion. The two fight, with Kion clawing at Kovu's head, shoulders, face, and mane until he tackles him, pinning him hard to the ground. Kion struggles and roars trying to sink his jaws into Kovu's neck but Kovu was the first to restrain Kion with his jaws clamped firmly around his mane until Kion struggles started to slow and his green iris over his scarred eye started to return to its natural brown colour.

Kiara: "KOVU! That's enough, Kion is starting to return to his senses."

Tiifu: "Let go of him, Kovu! Please!!"

Kovu: "Alright…"

Kovu slowly releases his grip on Kion and begins to slowly to retreat off Kion as he goes to check over Chiku and Kibo.

Kion: "Ugh… What… What happened to me?" 

Kion's gaze shifts over to his left as he sees his son and daughter laying inches away from him motionless. His eyes widen in horror at the sight of their injuries. Kion gets to his feet and runs to Uzani first and sniffs her then jumps over to check over Shujaa as well he was on the verge of tears as he collects Shujaa's limp form into his paws thinking that his own cubs had died from their injures. Kiara goes over to check over her neice as she begins to lick Uzani.

Tiifu: "Kion…" 

She walks towards her mate as he looks up at her. Kion starts crying now. He sobs like a lost little cub looking for its mother.

Kion: "What happened, Tiifu… What happened to our cubs?"

Tiifu: "Kion… Uzani and Shujaa are very much alive… But…"

Kion: "But what… Tiifu, what happened to them to get these injuries?"

Tiifu: "Darling, you… You're the one who injured them?"

Kion: "I did-- I attacked Uzani and Shujaa?"

Tiifu: "Mm-hmm…" 

Kion: "I attacked our cubs? Why did I do that?"

Tiifu: "It's okay, Kion… It's okay."

Kion: "Why? I don't even know who I am anymore. Why did I do that? Why did I attack our cubs, Tiifu?"

Tifu: "You were just confused, Kion. You were just confused."

Kion: "I'm so sorry, Tiifu."

Tiifu: "It's alright, love. Let's just get our cubs and you back to Rafiki and we'll talk about this later." 

Tiifu comforts Kion with a compassionate nuzzle then she goes to pick up Shujaa gently by the scruff. Kiara picks up Uzani as well and begins to lead her family back to Pride Rock while Tiifu and Kion walk side by side and Kovu brought up the rear with Kibo and Chiku following their father home. The whole time Kion felt traumatized and disgusted with himself as he kept a worried look for his injured son locked onto Shujaa during the whole journey home.
