Hunting for Herbs

Jayfeather is on his way back to ThunderClan's Camp from collecting herbs around the abandoned Twoleg nest, Alderpaw is scampering close behind his mentor as he is eager to learn all there is to be a Medicine Cat. As you can see there are feathers tucked into Jayfeather's and Alderpaw's pelts that is actually something I thought of recently after watching a recent episode that was released back in July of one of my favourite animated Web series "Cow of the Wild" made by Tribble-of-Doom. So, there's this one pack of wolves known as "Feather Ferals" At a young age, Feather Feral wolves are taken out to catch their first avian kill. If they kill the bird with respect, the bird's spirit will bind with them in the afterlife and will allow them to use their wings to fly. The wolves wear the feathers twined in their fur. If a wolf dies without its feather, they will be stuck on the ground in the afterlife, which is the greatest fear one of them can have. Their wings will be reduced to stubs. They can have them restored if someone else brings their feathers with them when they die. So just like how I put stars on my cat's foreheads when they are Leader of a Clan. From here on out I'm going to start identifying my Medicine Cats with feathers twined in their pelts probably most of them will wear them on their heads. I will put the wolves with feathers in their fur from "Cow of the Wild." in the comments just to give you an idea.
