Dark Memories of a Haunted Past

When Mufasa was a bright young and smart cub there was a time that he was the pride and joy of his parents' world. The royal family of three were happy and nothing could ever disturb the peace of their lives until one day that all changed when HE entered their lives. He being the second son. Taka was his name and ever since he entered their family King Ahadi never accepted him as his own son because of how small and weak he was and Ahadi made sure he wasn’t welcome on royal lessons with Mufasa who he was teaching his "one and only son" what will be expected of him when he became king someday. Ahadi's feelings of Taka would often cause his parents to fight and bicker about their younger son one heated moment happened one day when they boys where coming back to Pride Rock from a day out. Mufasa told Taka to take shelter in the den and as stubborn as his young brother could be Taka would protest and complain. Eventually Mufasa lets out a very irritated growl and eventually Taka would just roll his bright green eyes at his older brother before heading inside Pride Rock. Mufasa watched from a distance when all of a sudden Ahadi striking Uru across her face. This shocked Mufasa as he ducked back a bit but little did he know that Taka had  come to watch the heated exchange between his "father" and his mother and what he saw had shocked him to the core. Ahadi himself was also shocked at what he had just done by looking at his wife's blood spilled all over his claws. Rushing over to Uru he began to nuzzle her face and started to constantly ask if she was okay. His only response from her was that Uru jerked herself away from her husband and she let out a warning growl that he should back off if he knew what was good for him. Getting back on her feet and walking away she had seen that her elder son had been watching. She asks him where Taka was and Mufasa simply replies he's inside the den. Uru walks past Mufasa before giving him a quick lick on his tuft of mane before walking inside to check and see how Taka was doing. After this specific day in Pride Land history this event had changed the way Taka felt about his father, Ahadi forever.
