A Stranger Comes to Pride Rock

In the heart of the Pride Lands, the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the vast savanna. Queen Kiara and King Kovu stood at the edge of Pride Rock, overlooking their kingdom with pride and joy. Their daughter, frolicked nearby, her brown fur catching the last rays of sunlight. 

As the evening was settling in, a strange lion approached the Pride Lands. His mane was dark and unkempt, one of his eyes gleamed with an intensity that sent a shiver down Kiara's spine. Sensing the tension in the air, Chiku instinctively moved closer to her mother, her ears perked and eyes narrowed with suspicion.

Kiara stepped forward, her posture regal and commanding.

𝐊𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚: "𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬," she demanded, her voice firm and unwavering.

The stranger paused, his gaze flickering between Kiara and Kovu. 

???: "𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚," he replied, his voice low and gravelly "𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬."

Kovu growled softly, his muscles tensing as he stepped closer to Kiara, his protective instincts kicking in. He eyed Banya with suspicion, his green eyes narrowing into slits.

Kiara exchanged a glance with Kovu before turning her attention back to Banya

𝐊𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚: "𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭?" she asked, her voice tinged with caution.

Banya's lips curled into a smirk, revealing sharp teeth.

𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚: "𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦," he replied cryptically.

Chiku, sensing the tension in the air, remained vigilant by her mother's side, her green gaze fixed on the stranger with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension. 

Kiara studied Banya carefully, weighing his words. Despite her reservations, she knew that as queen, it was her duty to ensure the safety and well-being of her pride.

𝐊𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚 "𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥," she said finally. "𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙮."

Banya nodded, his expression unreadable.

𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚: "𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧," he began, his voice grave. "𝐀 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧."

Kovu's ears pricked up at the mention of rouge lions, his gaze hardening with determination. 

𝐊𝐨𝐯𝐮: "𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦," he growled his voice echoing with authority.

Kiara nodded in agreement, her eyes flashing with resolve.

𝐊𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚: "𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦," she declared, her voice ringing out across the savanna.

With that, Banya bowed his head respectfully before turning to leave, his mission accomplished. As he disappeared into the shadows, a sense of unease lingered in the air, reminding Kiara and Kovu that the peace of the Pride Lands was fragile, and they must remain vigilant to protect it.
