A Freak of Nature

Mzuri was out one day in the jungle admiring herself in a nearby pond. As she tends to grooming one of her legs she overheard laughter coming from nearby. It sounded like it was Shujaa but he was with a lioness and from the sound of the voice it wasn't his sister, Uzani when they began to walk to the opening Mzuri could see it was the visitor that came with Kion and Rani when they showed up in the Pride Lands a couple of days ago. When Mzuri first laid eyes on Maua her eyes where the first thing that caught her attention and Mzuri was even for shocked when she saw her secret crush went all lovey dovey eyed with a big smile on his face. She was even more shocked when Shujaa approached Maua headbutting the healer in training. How could Shujaa fall for a freak like that and what did he see in her that Mzuri didn't have? Either way when she left to go back home Mzuri was going to try her best to win Shujaa's heart over so he could forget about this Maua character once and for all.
